Essay Topics For the Devil and Tom Walkman
Essay Topics For the Devil and Tom WalkmanEssay topics for the devil and Tom Walkman are always hard to come up with. Many people assume that they have to write a scary story about the devil. The real question is what type of story would frighten Satan? The only way to find out is to try something different. How about an essay on Milton's 'Paradise Lost' rather than Satan, which is what I'm going to do in this essay. What a novel idea. Now then, Satan may be the most evil of all characters in the book. When he first appears in the story he is described as an aged king surrounded by thousands of men dressed in black armor. He holds a staff that has no ends but may be endless, and on the top of it is a fire burning so hot that it destroys the Heavens. Oh, my!And if that isn't scary enough, Milton then describes him as holding a book by the title of 'Paradise Lost,' and who could forget his two daughters, the very picture of innocence and purity. All these memories combine to make Satan s eem like a villain. But the truth is that Milton was not in fact writing a story about Satan but about Lucifer and his struggle to become the king of heaven. Now then, having learned that, let's move on to Milton's story on Paradise Lost. In this novel, Satan and his sisters go to visit their father, Lucifer, and are unexpectedly captured by their father. Satan eventually escapes and kills Lucifer, who had just made plans to rebel against God. God turns down Satan's plan of rebellion, however, and Satan is banished from heaven. It seems easy enough to write an essay on 'Paradise Lost' for Satan and Tom Walkman. Milton gets to show us what would happen if our own passions and desires take over the Lord and his kingdom. It seems to me that Milton's characters would be almost as frightening as Satan.Satan and Tom Walkman should also consider the vast mythology that surrounds the Devil. As Milton writes, 'they were horrible creations, some of the fiercest devils that God had permitted to roam the earth.'Now then, if Satan wants to give an essay topic on Paradise Lost, I hope that he considers the incredible amounts of literature that surrounds this fascinating character. There is more than enough material out there for Satan to use. What he needs is just a little inspiration and some help from the internet.
